Information

Background
The pattern "Dalahäst" was born when me and my daughter Olivia baked gingerbread when she was little. Suddenly there was a graphic helter-skelter pattern in the dough after punching with the cake tin.
-Jeanette Karsten-

The "Dalahäst" (Dala horse) is a wooden horse that is a symbol of the Dalarna landscape in Sweden, or nowadays by extension also of the whole of Sweden. The fabric is 100% woven linen.

Dimensions: 35 cm wide and 60 cm long
All stated sizes refer to unwashed fabrics. Expect approximately 5-7% shrinkage in both length and width associated with the first wash.
Follow the washing instructions.

About Klassbols Linnevaveri
The town of Klässbol is located in the Arvika municipality. This place is best known for the Klässbols linen weaving mill. This is where, among other things, the tablecloths that are used during the Nobel dinner, after the Nobel Prize ceremonies, are made.
Klässbols linen weaving mill is a supplier to the royal court and many Swedish embassies abroad also have linen from Klässbol. The weaving mill was founded in 1928 by Hjalmar Johansson and is now run by the fourth generation of Johanssons.
